All of Anderson's books are great reads, but I especially liked Prom and Speak. These two books I would recommend to any high school girls who are looking for very interesting summer reads. I couldn't put these books down they were so good.Lauren (Oviedo, FL. 10th)

I agree that Anderson is an excellent writer. But my favorite book is Speak. It is AWESOME! It deals with serious issues with humor, sensitivity and it makes you think. Speak was Anderson's first published book and it was a great way to start her career. The book won the 2000 Michael L. Printz Honor Book Award (best book for teens) and was on the New York Times and Publishers Weekly bestseller’s list. It was also made into a movie with the same title in 2004. You won’t regret picking up this book!
